Beginner's Guide to Composting

Increasing the number of households composting their food and garden waste at home is an important focus of Council’s waste minimisation work.

Through regular promotion and activities such as ‘Kickstart Compost Month’ (where the subsidy is increased from $20 to $30 for that month only), residents are encouraged to have a go with composting, worm farms and bokashi.
