Public Transport Services Procurement Strategy 2022-2025
Nelson City Council and Tasman District Council are adjoining Unitary Authorities who work together to deliver Regional Council public transport services.
The NCC and TDC Combined Public Transport Services Procurement Strategy covers the existing public transport arrangements and process for retendering the Nelson Tasman public transport services contract (contract) to be ready for service commencement 1 July 2023.
The Strategy also covers the procurement of Total Mobility Services and public transport technology. Both NCC and TDC have Waka Kotahi endorsed transport activity procurement strategies that cover their infrastructure procurement activities separately.
