My principal place of residence is in the Nelson City Council - At Large area.

I've worked hard as an approachable Councillor and Chairman. I've served as a voluntary leader in many community organizations.

With my knowledge, experience and dedication, I've made valuable contributions to our city.

Economic prosperity is vital for Nelson and Council needs to focus on core needs and the creation of opportunities. Prudent financial management remains a top priority and proper consideration of actual costs and benefits of planned expenditure is needed.

I'll continue my commitments to limiting rate increases to inflation rates, supporting all age groups, stopping elder abuse, prioritizing traffic congestion solutions and bringing retail back to Nelson.

Always available, I'm keen to continue to serve. I have a wide range of contacts and I realize how vitally important my historical knowledge is for Council debate and decision making. Living in Nelson is a privilege and contributing to sensible decisions to shape our future is a priority for me.
