Bylaw 228 Water Supply
The purpose of this bylaw is to:
- enable the Council to manage and provide public water supply services; and
- protect the public water supply network from damage, misuse, and interference; and
- protect the environment and the health and safety of the public and persons using the public water supply; and
- provide for water restrictions when necessary.
This bylaw shall apply to Nelson City and comes into force on the date it is signed and sealed and will be reviewed no later than 5 years after the date that it was made.
