Council's RSS Feeds
On this page you can subscribe to Nelson City Council's four RSS feeds: general Council news, Festivals and Events, Consultations, and Civil Defence news.
What is RSS?
For those of you not familiar with RSS, it is a technology that allows you to subscribe to blogs and newletters so they arrive in one central location on your computer where you can keep track of them. No more searching out updates -- they come to you!
You may need to download a news reader (also called a news aggregator) before you can get started. Those who have Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) will notice the orange icon in their toolbar to indicate a feed is available on pages--this is another way to subscribe to a feed. Users of Google and Yahoo! also have subscribe options. You'll find directions below to subscribe to each feed using each of these options .
